Meet the Maker

Caminito (meaning "small, wandering path") was born to celebrate the local craft and traditions of Mexico and California. Caminito goods are designed in celebration of life’s simple joys -- Taking the slow road and admiring shapes in the clouds. Lounge on a blanket while sharing laughs and snacks. Cozy up with a good book under one of their warm blankets. Born on the border of California and Mexico, Caminito was raised at a cultural crossroads. As a mother and daughter team (Elizabeth and Liz) Caminito collaborates with skilled artisans from their home country of Mexico. The design process starts at their Bay Area studio, taking inspiration from its diverse landscape. Each colorful blanket comes straight from a family run business in the heart of an old artisan city in Mexico. Caminito then handcrafts the leather straps in their San Diego. Each item is created as a tribute to Mexico’s color and craft. Caminito is a Women-Owned, Latino-Owned business.

Shipping and Returns

We very much hope you love the items you order, and while returns are rare, we understand that sometimes things may not be quite the right fit for your needs. Online orders are eligible for a full refund to the original payment method (excluding shipping fees, both directions) -- To qualify, products MUST be returned within 10 days after the date of delivery, and must be unused, in unopened, original packaging and in original condition with any associated tags attached. Paper items such as journals and notebooks must not show creases, damage or signs of use. Clothing must be unworn, unwashed, with tags, and in original condition.
