National Parks A to Z captures the emotion and spirit of our national parks, using a layered approach that will appeal to young readers of any age. Each letter of the alphabet features a national park, an animal native to that park, and an outdoor activity associated with the park. From "An Avocet Awakes at Acadia" to "A Zebra-Tailed Lizard Zonks Out at Zion," the reader travels from park to park, experiencing the landscapes, wildlife, history, and activities that make each park unique. Informative sidebars explore deeper topics inspired by interviews with National Park Service rangers, Tribal Nation members, accessibility activists, field scientists, and visitors. This book shares their answers to a key question: "What would you want to say to kids and other visitors about this park?"
Shipping and Returns
We very much hope you love the items you order, and while returns are rare, we understand that sometimes things may not be quite the right fit for your needs. Online orders are eligible for a full refund to the original payment method (excluding shipping fees, both directions) -- To qualify, products MUST be returned within 10 days after the date of delivery, and must be unused, in unopened, original packaging and in original condition with any associated tags attached. Paper items such as journals and notebooks must not show creases, damage or signs of use. Clothing must be unworn, unwashed, with tags, and in original condition.
