The Painter's Studio A3 Poster - Karlotta Freier by KIBLIND Atelier
The Artist's Studio (between 1854-1855) from Gustave Courbet, reinterpreted by Karlotta Freier © KIBLIND Atelier. This unique collection brings together five women illustrators who have reinterpreted emblematic masterpieces from the Musée d’Orsay as illustrated stories. “Like Courbet, I have represented myself in my creative space, surrounded by my works. Here, I engage in the ongoing dialogue about artistic heritage, gender and representation, reimagining the role of the artist not as a solitary genius, but as a person deeply connected to her environment and relationships.” – Karlotta Freier (NYC, USA). Risography printing by KIBLIND Atelier on Munken Print White 150g paper.
